Growing & Maintenance Tips for Avocado 'Mexicola Grande (A)'

Avocados need excellent drainage, so planting on a slight mound is imperative in clay soils.

Make sure you don't disturb the root system with cultivation or weeding (Hula-Hoe) once planted. The roots are shallow and will not handle that kind of treatment.

Cover with frost cloth when small as the newest green growth is most succeptible to frost damage.
